The Annual General Meeting of Linkage Assurance Plc held on Thursday 20th May 2021, the event which was the 27th Annual General Meeting took place at the Agip Hall, Muson Centre Onikan Lagos.
Some highlights of the event included the ccommendation of the Board and Management for the Company’s performance in 2020 as well as applaud from the shareholders for the Dividend and Bonus despite the challenges posed by Covid-19.
The shareholders that were present at the meeting spoke glowingly with excitement about the Company, they applauded the Company’s leadership for the dividend and bonus shared in the year 2021 despite the critical times (Covid 19 pandemic) and the recapitalization of insurance companies, it shows that Linkage Assurance Plc places values its investors.
The Chairman of the Company, Chief Joshua B. Fumudoh while responding to the shareholders on recapitalization plans of the Company assured them that Linkage Assurance Plc has put in place strategies to recapitalise the company.
According to him, given the performance in 2020 and the capitalization of N2billion at the meeting, he is sure the company will deliver when the recapitalization exercise is called up eventually.
