Linkage Automobile Insurance

Linkage Automobile Insurance provides cover for loss or damage resulting from ownership and use of all forms of automobile vehicles licensed to operate on Nigerian road as well as the associated third party bodily injury and property damage liabilities. The types of Cover available include but not limited to the following:

Comprehensive Insurance cover insures against the risk of Fire, theft and burglary, accidental damage to policy owner's insured vehicle and its accessories as well as third party bodily injury, medical expenses and damage to properties belonging to other road users and members of the public.

Third Party, Fire&Theft Insurance Cover insures similar risk as highlighted under Comprehensive Cover above except for the accidental damage to policy owner's Insured vehicle.

Third Party Insurance Cover insures against potential liabilities for bodily injuries and damage to other third party road users and passersby resulting from the ownership and use of licensed motor vehicles on Nigerian roads.

Third Party Plus Insurance Cover insures against bodily injury including death to Third Parties caused by accidents occurring on public roads.

It also covers Third Party property damage in addition to bodily injury. Third Party property damage limited to N1, 000,000, whilst Bodily injury and Death are unlimited. It also provides Own damage cover limited to N250, 000.

The Company shall not be liable to pay for:
  • Consequential loss, depreciation, wear and tear, mechanical or electrical breakdowns failures or breakages
  • Damage caused by overloading or strain.
  • Damage caused by explosion of any boiler forming part of attached to or on the motor vehicle.
  • Loss of or damage to wheels, tyres, lamps and/or accessories by burglary, housebreaking or theft unless the motor vehicle is stolen at the same time.
  • Any cost of repairs in excess of the maximum limit of N250,000.00
  • Free intra-state towing charges
  • Enhanced limit for Third Party Property Damage up to N2m at no extra cost
  • Medical expenses to Third Parties following accidental bodily injuries
  • Free installation of tracking device
  • Concessionary rating consideration for a large motor fleet
  • Extended cover up to West African sub-regional countries
